bernman Posted September 16, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2012 Hello, I was wondering if they have a way to hook up an iPod in your cabin on the Magic. Specifically something on the radio or TV to run the player through. Anyone? Thanks!
firefly333 Posted September 16, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2012 There is no radio (or alarm clock). I have never heard of anyone hooking their ipod thru their tv, but probably if you are a whiz you could. Not me. Ive heard of people bringing their own speakers though. Redsfan Posted September 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2012 no alarm clocks and you cannot hook an ipod up to a TV that I am aware of, so my guess is you are out of luck. If you bring a laptop and cables, perhaps you can connect your PC to the Cabin tv's and watch what is on your ipods, etc
poohbear Posted September 17, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2012 We always bring our ihome with us, and of course a power strip since there is only one outlet in the room!
Rare songbird1329 Posted September 17, 2012 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2012 I have something I bought about a year ago, potable iPod speakers that run on AA batteries. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk

They work on my Kindle or any other device that will take a headphone.
Redsfan Posted September 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2012 you don't really need a radio either for an ipod if you have the pin connector with the attached wall AC Plug. Plug into a wall and good to go. Sound isn't great on it's own but works. Good alarm clock as well
steph7021 Posted September 18, 2012 #9 Share Posted September 18, 2012 Is your iPod a newer version? If it has the speaker put it in a glass and it magnifies the sound as good as a speaker

We listen to our music at home that way

We listen to our music guess you can, but I don't think it will take standard composite cables. I have also read that some tv's work and some don't. This is one downfall with Apple Products...
