2ndtime20yrslater Posted September 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2012 I'm sure its in here somewhere, but how early do you frequent cruisers get to the Bayonne pier to board Explorer?? We want to try and get up to the spa to book a couples massage cuz we couldn't do it online..(all slots must have been already taken).. Is 10:30 too early??? bighairtexan Posted September 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted September 23, 2012 I got there last Sat around 11- 11:15. We were on by 12 which may have been a little later than usual, as the ship was late unloading all its previous passengers. We were arriving as some folks were just getting off the ship. Otherwise I feel we'd have been on a bit earlier.

DonnaK Posted September 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2012 At Bayonne, we always get there around 11am. As soon as you board, have lunch in the Windjammer buffet before it gets too crowded. You won't have access to your cabin until 1:30pm on Explorer, so you'll have to keep your carryon luggage with you until that time.
teddie Posted September 23, 2012 #5 Share Posted September 23, 2012 10:30 is fine. You will beat lots of traffic as well as being amongst the first to board. Bring a book or magazine; they serve coffee and cookies in the waiting area of the terminal. Wish I were boarding, too :( Teddie
