How to post pictures ??

A quick way to post an occasional picture is via tinypic dot com. You can upload an individual photo and specify it's for a message board. After you upload, just copy and paste the img code it gives you into the message text box here on cc. They also give you codes for websites and emails etc so be sure to use the img code for forums and message boards.

 

I learned about this several years ago right here on the photo board.

I have used PhotoBucket successfully but this is a test from Shutterfly.....

I posted a photo that I had uploaded to Shutterfly. My landscape photo, which I'm viewing on my iPad, is not as wide as other photos, which basically go from margin to margin. What causes this?

Very easy.

 

Bring one picture up on the PB site by itself. You can resize it, work with it if you want. Put your mouse pointer over the picture on the bottom half of the picture, right click, from that menu, select copy.

 

Come to CC, and respond to a post, in the response, place your mouse pointer where you want the pic to appear, right click again, this time, select paste.

Very interesting information, I loved looking at everyone's photos. I have a MacBookPro - no mouse. I'm not sure what to do. I have signed up for Photobucket, and then stopped, because I don't want to do more than just be able to post the occasional photo - not store ALL my photos. Is this possible? Thanks for any advice.

Just put any photos you want to share here on Photobucket.

 

Once they are on PB, easy to put them here.

How do you get the larger pictures in Photobucket? Mine aren't full screen like some, but can't find where to choose a larger size in Photobucket like we could with Webshots.
