icecake Posted October 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2012 We arrive at Southampton and aim to disembarch about 10.30am. From the Ocean terminal are there connections/shuttles to a, Southampton railway station b, Southampton airport? Are there facilities for car hire at the terminal or "Meet and Greet?" Is there help in the way of luggage trolleys for people with walking problems? Does National Express have a stop at Ocean Terminal?

Globaliser Posted October 6, 2012 #4 Share Posted October 6, 2012 From the Ocean terminal are there connections/shuttles to a, Southampton railway station b, Southampton airport? ... Does National Express have a stop at Ocean Terminal? An immediate answer to both of these questions is "no". But there should be plenty of taxis. I would be surprised if someone with mobility problems could not get some assistance.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted October 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2012 With which Cruise company are you sailing? 10.30am seems late to be disembarking....
icecake Posted October 7, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted October 7, 2012 What time will the Queen Elizabeth usually arrive at Southampton? What is the usual procedure and time to leave the ship? How far is it to the taxi rank? Are there seating places while waiting for a cab?
