Carnival Legend vs Norweigan Dawn

Okay, here is my question. I might be getting a group together of females (primarily in their 20s) for a cruise out of nyc for Labor Day. The two ships that leave out of nyc are the Carnival Legend and the Norweigan Daw. Which ship do you think would be better suited for our needs? Either destination would be fine.

The legend is an 8 day cruise. How many is the Dawn? What is the cost difference?

 

I see a huge price difference for Sept 4-5 sailing for both these ships. THe Norweign is under 500pp and the LEgend is 800pp (for the same week)

 

I would pick the Legend. Only since the cabins are bigger on Carnival then Norweign.

I also like the Ports that the Legend visits that week.

The Miracle. is also sailing that week out of New York. Its Carnival newest ship. Have you considered that one?

The Dawn is a real beauty! Open, airy with lots of light and very cool artwork. NCL offers Freeestyle dining instead of assigned seating also.

 

I prefer NCL overall to CCL so I would vote for the Dawn.
