peter_krynicki Posted October 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2012 We are going to Key West in December and planning on shopping and sight seeing - a couple that will be with us would like to go Parasailing. Just wondered if Key West was a good place to do this? When I'm in Key West for a week in May and July there's never a day, when conditions are good, that I don't see several parasails in the air just off or behind Sunset Key. Look at Fury or Sebago, each of which leaves from a place you can walk to. IIRC Sebago gives you a few more minutes in the air, and decide if you want a video made of your flight. Silvery Seas Cruiser Posted October 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2012 Just one caveat: It can be quite chilly in Key West in December. It can be hot and humid too. The cold spells come in waves of a few days and alternate with milder days. It is impossible to predict this far out what the weather will be when you arrive. tlcs Posted November 13, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2012 we used Fury Watersports for our May family cruise stop in Key West. It was an awesome time. The crew and view were both fantastic. Very professional and safe. Highly recommend.

duncan449 Posted November 28, 2012 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2012 The water is gorgeous, and often times you can catch a glimpse of dolphins swimming below you! I don't remember the companies we've used, but it was amazing every time.
NOLA MOM Posted December 19, 2012 #7 Share Posted December 19, 2012 On 12/4/12 our Carnival cruise ship docked in Key West and just walked over to the Fury shop at the dock and bought our tickets: $40 each. Cruise excursion was over $80 each! Water was beautiful and we had them dip our toes! Would gladly do it again; we even bought $20 photo cd they took of all 4 of us: over 150 photos!
