Is it "required" that you place your luggage outside your door by midnight on the last night - or can you carry it off the ship with you???? Our last cruise retrieving luggage was a nightmare. We would rather deal with carrying it off ourselves than searching a "football"field size ocean of luggage!!!

Carnival has introduced "express debarkation" that allows you to carry off your luggage yourself under certain circumstances. Don't know about any other lines.
