SomewhereBeyondTheSea Posted October 25, 2012 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2012 After seeing that Carnival is charging about $80-$90.00 per adult just for Beach access, I am going to try to book directly with Blue Lagoon and purchase a day pass with them for $54.00 per adult and $45 per child. Does anyone know if there is enough time to catch the 1:30 Ferry? I am pretty sure the last time I purchased this excursion through Carnival it did not cost me this much. I never would've paid that much just for a 25 minute ferry to sit on a beach for only 2 hours. I know the cruiseline will up the price which is why I normally avoid booking with the cruise company, but this just seems ridiculous to me. Is there anyone out there that had the same port schedule and able to catch the 1:30 Ferry on their own?
Rare Rewind Posted October 25, 2012 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2012 I was thinking the same thing before, but where the ferry leaves from is a 10 minute cab ride (or more depending on traffic) and they recommend getting there 30 minutes early or more. spookwife Posted October 25, 2012 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2012 also keep in mind that while she may be tied up at 1300, the gangway to get off may not be open til 1315 or later.
