We have booked a Greek Isles cruise for August 2013 and have a question about rooms. We have booked an outside cabin on the 2nd floor. Our first RCI cruise was on the Monarch last year. We had a porthole room and it was very small. How will these rooms compare. Thanks in advance. We are very excited.

We have booked a Greek Isles cruise for August 2013 and have a question about rooms. We have booked an outside cabin on the 2nd floor. Our first RCI cruise was on the Monarch last year. We had a porthole room and it was very small. How will these rooms compare. Thanks in advance. We are very excited.

 

We spent a week in one of those porthole rooms on Monarch. We have also spent a week on Splendour, but we had a balcony that time. Our traveling companions, however had an OV on 2 and enjoyed it very much. It appeared to be very similar to our balcony cabin, except there was no balcony ourside. It is significantly bigger than the cabins on Monarch.

 

Having said that, we were perfectly happy in our little cabin on Monarch and would gladly stay in a similar cabin to be on Splendour in the Greek Isles.
