sunscreen Posted November 6, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2012 Refresh my memory again as to the perks one receives when rebooking a future cruise while onboard your current cruise. Less then 40 days out and:rolleyes: Im already preplanning.
johnql Posted November 6, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2012 You can't really book a future cruise while on the ship, other than logging onto NCL.com through the internet and booking it online. Therefore, no perks. However, you can purchase a Freestyle Cruise Reward for $250. It's a certificate/voucher that can be used to reserve a cabin for a future cruise. The certificate can be used as your full deposit for a single cabin (typically half what you're normally required to put down), although some higher-end suites require more than the certificate alone. When you purchase the certificate for $250, you will be issued an immediate $100 OBC for the cruise that you're currently sailing, which means that you're effectively paying only $150 for the certificate. The $100 OBC can then be used to offset shipboard expenses. When you use the certificate as your deposit later on, you will receive the full $250 face value of the certificate.
