Yes. There is one arcade machine that takes quarters or Princess Tokens in the shape of quarters. I think they also use the coins for the self-service laundry.

One word of caution-I was on the Coral two months ago and the casino does indeed take cash, but it will not give you cash back.

 

I do not know if this is universal, but on the Coral, you must download your winnings (or balance) into a bank based on your cruise card. To get the cash, you must create a pin number and take your cruise card to the cashier. The cashier runs the card and you enter your pin and then they will give you the cash back.....

 

Once loaded, you can also insert you cruise card into the machine and play from the bank. THe machines tell you how much is banked so you can watch the balance go down as you continue to lose;) or up if you happen to win.

Does the sun rise in the East? US$ are welcome everywhere. Especially in the casino. If you play the table games you do get your cash as soon as you cash in your chips.

 

I haven't won too often but my best strategy is to put those black chips in the room safe as I collect them so I am not tempted to spend it as cash in my pocket. The last night we cash them in and have something to take home.

 

They want to pay you out in $25 chips and you have to insist on the black ($100) ones. I'm sure that's so you can't squirrel them away for safekeeping.
