Boarding Question

We're rookie cruisers and are going on Royal Carribean this summer. We know when the ship departs but don't know how early to arrive? What is the earliest you can arrive, what is the latest you should arrive?

Most times they will allow you to start boarding at around noon. But that time depends on how quickly all the passengers from the previous cruise leave the ship. Sometimes there are delays that could delay your embarking. Most cruise lines would prefer you board no later than 90 minutes before your cruise departs.

Same opinion here. Some people like to arrive early and it used to be that you could get on Royal Caribbean as early as like 10 AM. Now that immigration and such take longer, I think noon is a good choice. Now, the early arrivals stand in a line that doesn't move until they begin boarding so if you arrive at noon or so, even if there is a line, at least it usu has begun to move.
