pinkaboo Posted May 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2005 Will be cruising to Bermuda the 1st week in November 2005 and again the 1st week in May. Does anyone know what the weather is going to be like during those two times of the year? We've never been to Bermuda. Can you swim on board the ship and at one of the beaches in Bermuda in May or is it tooooo cold. We'll be sailing out of Bayonne NJ. And what about during the month of November. How's the 1st week in november? Are those 2 of the worst times to cruise to Bermuda? Is there shopping close by the ship or do you have to taxi to where all of the good shops are? Barb Nahoumi Posted May 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2005 I have never been to Bermuda in November, but went during the 1st week of May, 04. The seas were rough, and the Bermudan weather was cool & somewhat damp. We did manage one beach day. As for shopping, the stores are located within walking distance of the Ship, which was docked in St. George. Front St., Hamilton has lovely stores, such as Coopers. I am booked to return to Bermuda in July. Hopefully, we'll experience better beach weather.
Swizzle v2.0 Posted May 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 29, 2005 Go to www.weather.bm and click on 'climate data'. It gives you monthly weather and temperature data going back 4-5 years, including sea temperature.
