Tortola Port

You can easily walk to restaurants and shops, although I didn't see a whole lot in the town itself. If you want to see more of the island, you'll need to rent a car or take an excursion or hire a driver. We rented a car (well, a jeep) from Hertz. It wasn't a great experience (flat tire with no way to contact them; long wait when we returned the jeep, as the rental agency is at the yacht harbor 15 minutes away, etc.) but it was fun tooling around the island.

Tortola there was an island tour right at the end of the pier $20 USD PP

we met many people on the ship's tours at the same stops ;)

after the tour we walked into town lots of shops, restaurants etc plus lots of locals outside the gates selling their wares
