LuckiePuris Posted November 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted November 26, 2012 A had a client mention to me that in Lifou they went to the left or right of the pier and went swimming with the turtles. Has anyone done this before / can anyone give any further information on this? Thank you!
Oz_Steve Posted November 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted November 27, 2012 I spent a week on Lifou about 10 years ago and we saw 5 turtles in the area where the ships anchor. It is towards the church where I saw them.
cjm66 Posted November 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2012 We saw them from the tender this month they were to the left of the pier looking towards the shore -well away from the swimmers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Miamia65 Posted November 27, 2012 #4 Share Posted November 27, 2012 The turtles are on both sides of the pier where the tender comes in . We were there earlier this month. You can hire kayaks on the beach fairly cheaply and chase the turtles. You will need reef shoes on this island.
