What are those "Odd" things some of us would never think to bring?

I read this prior to our cruise and took several items. Lots we didn't need. The body poof for body wash was a great idea, stomach meds, bandaid needed. Wish we'd taken alarm clock. I'd recommended a luggage scale to weigh bags after packing. Also a small sewing kit.
