Day car rentals in Port Canaveral

Hello all:

 

I just booked the Miracle cruise for Feb 18, 2013 with a stop in Port Canaveral. We are interested in renting a car for a trip to Kennedy Space Center (we are there 8 to 6pm) Where is the nearest car rental to the port or the ones with a shuttle?

all that are here have shuttles (but you may want to check hours)

 

nearest is Hertz which you can see from the ship - but don't walk the roads are VERY busy

 

other choices all within a mile or so . .

 

Budget

AVIS, Dollar, Thrifty (clustered together)

ENTERPRIZE (their shuttle also says ALAMO and NATIONAL but I'd confirm b4 booking)

 

location is CAPE Canaveral .. there is no such place a Port Canaveral . . .
