Miami Doubletree Airport reviews

Has anyone stayed at the Doubletree Miami Airport? We are booked there the night before our cruise 1-12-13 Also need transportation to the cruise port. Quality shuttle? or any suggestions?

I would take a taxi to the cruise port.

If you are focussing on Hilton family hotels (chasing points? using points? :confused:) near MIA the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon and the Homewood Suites Blue Lagoon are both regularly suggested on these boards -- both have shopping and dining near by (across the street from the Hampton Inn). I have stayed at the Homewood Suites and it is very nice and well run.

 

Most airport area hotels can arrange for shuttle service to POM for about $10-12 per person, or a taxi will run right at $30 including the tip. Good luck! :)
