Juliska Posted January 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I'm planning on taking a NCL snorkeling excursion. Is there a place to secure your personal items (ID, passport, money, etc.) on the ship or on the beach? Probably a silly question, but I thought I'd ask. The Flying Pirate Posted January 2, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Where are you going? Most dive boats have bins where you can store a bag. I generally take only the minimum. Bring your picture ID, your ship pass and enough money to pay for the tour plus a tip. Most beaches aren't secure at all. Some locations have lockers to rent, but it depends on where you are going. Juliska Posted January 2, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I'll probably go snorkeling at St. Thomas, either the Captain Nautica Snorkel or the Turtle Cove Catamaran Sail and Snorkel through NCL. I'm also going to do the Blue Lagoon Sea Lion Encounter in Nassau, which has the same concerns, I suppose.
Chalker Guy Posted January 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 2, 2013 I take some cash, ships card, and one credit card in an Aloksak dry pouch that stays around my waist while snorkeling. Also my waterproof camera. Clothes and other non-essentials I leave on the beach or the boat, never had any problems.
