Best Western - LaPlace, La.

We are going to be staying at the Best Western in La Place, La. the night before our cruise in April.

Has anyone ever stayed there and can you tell me a little about it.

Just wondering if it is a nice clean place and safe area?

I live in LaPlace. Have not stayed at the Best Western but it is one of oldest hotels and have not heard many good things about it. Not sure what the rates are but there are few nicer hotels here, Days Inn, Hampston Inn are fairly new and nice, Quality Inn is older but a nice hotel as well. And the area is safe. If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer.

Holiday Inn Express is another option. Check to see if Best Western reopened since Hurricane Isaac. It's been a while, so probably has. Holiday Inn Expressis definitely open, right across the street, and had friends stay after Isaac, pleased with service.
