ollipekkah Posted January 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2013 Has anybody experienced lately air-conditioning issues on Celebrity Summit? I have read that Summit has had followng temperature issues: -hot buffet area -cold cabins on deck 11 -too warm scoop ice cream at the buffet Some extra questions: Did you saw any specialities of Qsine on the first evening? What time was the emergency drill on the first evening? When were the formal nights? On which itenary? Thanks in advance!
jenniebnyc Posted January 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2013 I have read that Summit has had followng temperature issues: -hot buffet area -cold cabins on deck 11 -too warm scoop ice cream at the buffet RESPONSE: I asked the same question a few weeks ago and was told the temp is now fine. Fingers crossed this will be the case for my Jan 26th sailing! Some extra questions: Did you saw any specialities of Qsine on the first evening? Not sure what you are asking? What time was the emergency drill on the first evening? 7:45pm When were the formal nights? On which itenary? Usually Sunday and Thursday.
phoenix_dream Posted January 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2013 On our cruise last Nov into Dec, the air-conditioning was not working right for the first few days. It seemed to be ok during the latter part of the cruise. There were alot of issues with the drink machines in the buffet area as well, but I hear they are fixed now as well. judatt Posted January 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2013 We just got off the Summit on Dec 15. I thought the a/c was fine. Yes, it did seem a little warm if you sat in the bump out portion of the buffet area but if you moved in a table it was fine. It was really warm (hot) outside so I can see how it would be difficult to keep it cool with the sun coming in those big windows and not too cold for the rest of the room. We ate in Normandie so don't have any info on Qsine. The drill was at 7:45 and the formal nights were Sunday and Thursday.
