Waterproof camera recs (not the disposable ones)?

Lol, I am replying to myself...

After some searching online, I found two options for our Canon Powershot G2. I am posting these since the bags can be used with other digital cameras. I have read good things about both, and I have not heard of either leaking.

that looks like a good idea. I already have 3 film cameras and 1 digital camera. The thought of having to buy yet another camera for diving was making me sick!

Decided to go with the ewa marine one, since it has the optical lens port built in the bag. We will be taking it to the beach with us in a few weeks. I will let you know how it goes!

wow, I had no idea there were protective bags for digital cameras for underwater use!

I have used a Sealife Camera for many of my snorkeling trips. It's definitely not digital quality but I have come home with some very good pics. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Thanks for posting your research... my DH has been checking into this as well. He would like to "waterproof" our digital camera and digital camcorder.

I think we will have a case of photo over-kill! In addition to the cameras mentioned above, we are taking 6 disposable cameras and 5 waterproof disposables. :eek:

Before we leave, I am sure he will find casing to work on the camcorder... :rolleyes:
