Considering a Cunard ship for my next cruise I just wanna know if they allow smoking on veranda´s?

Yes they do. You're allowed to smoke on your balcony.

Thank you - that´s good news. I total agree at the non smoking policy in staterooms, but ones own balcony- well thats nice! You smoke also I take it!

That´s the idea- love that too. Sailed with Celebrity since about ten years- there smoking polici sucks! So inconvinient always to rush up or down a few decks in order to get a cigi- not that I am a chainsmoker or something like that- just as you said, so nice to just head for once balcony! I sailed QM2 four years ago - I knew they allowed it then, but things like that change all the time.

Totally agree and it got me thinking about the pro's and cons behind this.

Well I think it's disgusting... that a smoking thread should reach 10 posts with such considered discussion.

 

Whatever next? A thread asking if a clip-on bow-tie is acceptable on formal night being met with replies of 'do what feels comfortable for you'?

 

Smoking allowed on balconies, but always best to make sure the door to room is firmly closed.
