lingram001 Posted January 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2013 I have an inside room the 4 of us during a 7 day cruise in May. The cruise is paid for, including gratuities, insurance and even purchased an excursion thru Carnival. I'm thinking that a connecting would better suit us. Can we change to a connecting (with the $$$ difference and if available) with Carnival without a penalty? Thank you for your help!! :)

KroozFoolz Posted January 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2013 We are not past final payment, lingram001. I would suggest calling Carnival (or your travel agent, if you used one to book this cruise) asap (as the number of connecting cabins is very limited) so you can learn what options are available at this point. It may be very easy to make the change you are considering or it may be a bit more complicated depending on what rate you originally used to book the cruise. (Some rates, such as early saver, have different restrictions/penalties for making changes.)
bphman Posted January 26, 2013 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2013 If there are cabins available I am sure they will do it. The cost may be a factor depending what rate you booked. We always found the the price difference between 4 crammed into one cabin and 2 each comfortably in 2 cabins was not very much. What may be a problem is whether connecting cabins are available. Good luck.
