How does "Cheers" program work when ordering more than one at a time?

Does anyone know how the Cheers program applies when ordering buckets of beer? For example, if I'm laying by the pool and order a bucket (4 beers) and decide to share them with friends who aren't part of the Cheers program, I assume that isn't an issue?

I've read that when you approach the bar you can only get one drink at a time. What if my wife and I are both on Cheers, can I can two drinks on my card? Or do I have to bring her card and mine up to the bar?

The Cheers Program only works for single drinks. You can't use it to get a bucket of beer. You can only order one drink at a time so you wouldn't be able to get one for you wife at the same time....she would have to order her own or you would have to wait 5 minutes then go get the second one.

Exactly right.......I just got off the Breeze and you can't use it on buckets of beer, doubles (except the Bloody Mary drink special in the morning) and a few other restrictions, like bottles of wine or drinks over a certain dollar amount.

My sister and I both had the program and every time they had to swipe both of our cards...After the bartenders got to know us we were able to take each others cards to the bar, but they were rung up separately.

Also, soda's and specialty coffee's count agains your drink limit, however they have the ability to give you a drink and charge it against the Cheers program but it doesn't always count against the limit....there were many days when I would ask late in the afternoon how many I had had (knowing that I was probably at 9 or 10 and they would say 6!!!!!!

I also got the On Us card in the Casino for the whole cruise and that is a completely different perk. The recept says Casino Comp and you need to make sure that you tell the bar waiter to be sure it comes up as free to the casino and doesn't charge against your Cheers program....I had it happen a few times and they just reversed and recharged the drink.

Sodas are not suppose to count toward the limit only alcohalic drinks.
