Just found a good price for RT O'Hare to Orlando on TED. Has anyone flown this new branch of United? Any and all details would be helpful (including food info icon_smile.gif!)

TIA, Nancy

We're flying Ted in June from Washington DC to Ft. Lauderdale. They have some great fares....We always fly United...Ted is operated by United so I have faith that all will be fine! We are flying down one day early though "just in case". They don't serve food - but you can buy something during the flight if needed..but I figure I saved at least $500 with Ted (there's 5 of us) so who cares if we don't eat for our two hour flight!

Oh, one more thing I forgot to say - The United rep told me that all the planes are United planes, refurbished for Ted. Check-in is at United. And, in case you didn't know, you earn United frequent flier mileage. If you sign up for the Ted mileage program too, they have an offer that you can fly domestically for only 15,000 miles instead on the regular 25,000.

Do you know where I can read about this? Ted's looking like it'll get my biz, as I'm also a United Mileage Member!

Thanks! Nancy

Nancy,

I actually got an e-mail from Ted (sounds like I know him personally, huh? icon_smile.gif ) The e-mail told me how to sign up for this. If you can't find it, I'd be happy to look for the e-mail and forward it to you.

Nancy, me again -

I found the e-mail and it's easy to sign up. Just go to the United website (UAL.com) and go to Ted. On the bottom right, click on Join Ted. You will get a screen where you can type in your United frequent flier number. Then, you're all set. For anyone who doesn't beling to United, there is a place where you can click and get a number.
