Help-Flight Mexico City to Miami-REALLY EXPENSIVE

My BF and I are flying into Miami to meet up with my parents for a New Years cruise our of Lauderdale. We are having quite a problem finding decent priced tickets due to the fact that all of the wealthy people from MExico city travel to Miami during this time. Any suggestions? Since it is international would you give yourself 1 day before and after to the cruise in order not to worry about making the flight? Muchas gracias!!!!

I dont think the price is high because of all the wealthy people flying but because its a holiday..lol

yes, definetely give yourself a day in advance before the cruise. Post the cruise.... as long as the flight is in the afternoon you will be fine.
