English Rose Posted February 2, 2013 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2013 Has anyone ever hired bikes in Georgetown? Quite fancied cycling to Royal Palms. Anyone know how far it is? Thanks!
Deb922 Posted February 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I would not recommend riding a bike from Georgetown to Royal Palms. The traffic is crazy! We saw very few people on bikes.
English Rose Posted February 4, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted February 4, 2013 Thank you! Doesn't look like there are many places to rent anyway. Probably go by taxi. Thanks for the reply.
Richard McKee Posted December 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Hi Everyone! I have just opened a bike trail up in West Bay on Grand Cayman, it is a 3 hour/ ten mile coastal loop through the National Park and along the little coastal villages and waterfront bars of West Bay and Seven Mile Beach. I do not run bikes in Georgetown or along busy roads as they are just too busy with heavy vehicles. I have a minibus that picks up and drops off at the cruise ship terminal in Georgetown, just book through my website. I have a range of adult and children road bikes and cruisers. It is also flat the whole way round....cruise along with the breeze in your hair! See you soon Richard McKee Tel 345 939 0911 http://www.westbayloop.com Edited December 19, 2013 by Richard McKee

You could take the bus for $2.50/pp each way. Much cheaper than a cab and super easy.
