Fydlstyx Posted February 14, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 14, 2013 thanks for posting I second that! I enjoy watching this. I would like to know what the signs written on the sheets say, but I can't make it out.

Redsfan Posted February 14, 2013 #8 Share Posted February 14, 2013 this doesn't look good..is that Coast Guard in the Air dropping a rescue device down? Another boat loading emergency personnel on board? Wow how awful! Yep, Coast Guard!
frayedend Posted February 14, 2013 #9 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Did they just airlift someone off? Saw a heli landing and it looked like they had a basket. Maybe just supplies? Also saw some people boarding from the side, looked like Coast Guard.

jtonra Posted February 14, 2013 #11 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Where is everyone? The deck is pretty quiet. If conditions inside are as bad as everyone says, I'd expect the deck to be packed?
deltahog Posted February 14, 2013 #12 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Watched for a few minutes, very interesting. Wondered why so many people are wearing white, up close shots revealed many to be wearing their bathrobes from the room. (Like, half the people). Saw groups of people waving at the helicopter. A couple of kids running and playing. A few folks milling about using their cell phones or shooting video. All in all, not the Lord of the Flies I was expecting to see. But as others have mentioned not too many on top decks, I think probably because it is cold now. Don't know how it might be below.

KenMo Posted February 14, 2013 #14 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Where is everyone? The deck is pretty quiet. If conditions inside are as bad as everyone says, I'd expect the deck to be packed? I wondered the same thing. CNN just said is 43F in Mobile and with the wind, it's probably kind of chilly out. Doubtful anyone brought cold weather gear for the cruise. waldocruiser1 Posted February 14, 2013 #15 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I am sorry, this is just Bull Shtttt that Cnn is wasting time talking to this little girl Rebecca and her mom on the cell phones, Why not just let rebecca call her mom, or mom call rebecca, this is so stupid, This trip must have been so tramtic that these girls forgot their moms phone numbers, and had to call CNN instead of directory assitance. CosmoLover Posted February 14, 2013 #17 Share Posted February 14, 2013 people are on the top deck waving and holding their noses at the same time..must be very bad if the stench on the TOP decks are bad enough that even people cant breathe well up there... Mizzouaholic Posted February 14, 2013 #19 Share Posted February 14, 2013 I saw a bunch of people dancing and acting liek they were flashing the cameras by opening the front of their bathrobes. lol. Im sure conditions are bad, but i'm sure it will be way blown out of porportion by the media like everything usually is.
coolson_2000 Posted February 14, 2013 #20 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Watching this has just confirmed to me what kind of one-sided agenda driven trash station that CNN actually is. They saw people on their balcony waving with towels and the "host" said "it's hard to tell if they're waving their towels to say hello or to ask for help". Just ridiculous. This station should be embarrassed. They are also trying to bait a 12 year old girl into telling them that the conditions are horrible...pathetic! fjdavis50 Posted February 14, 2013 #22 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Yep, the media is using their scare propaganda, listen to their choice of words describing the ship... crippling, limping in, etc.... I even saw on their close up view a few people playing put put golf...
