Merion_Mom Posted February 24, 2013 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2013 Does anyone know how many people can fit at the largest table on the Independence? The tables usually range from 2-10. They can make a table for 12, but if you have more than that, you are better off with two tables side-by-side.
NICruisers Posted February 24, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2013 I agree with Merion Mom, probably about 12 is your limit. However, on deck 5 they have several little alcloves with 2 or 3 tables where you could seat up to 20 people in a group setting, although not all at the same table. Call RCCL and ask to speak to someone in their hospitality department and they'll be glad to help organise it for you. Hope this helps.
fpcruiser Posted February 24, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted February 24, 2013 thanks, we had a group of 10 going and then someone invited another couple and they said yes. I don't want to be at 2 tables.
cello56 Posted February 24, 2013 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2013 thanks, we had a group of 10 going and then someone invited another couple and they said yes. I don't want to be at 2 tables. We were on a cruise with ten people on Allure last fall. We were all at one long rectangular table. To be perfectly honest, I have no idea what the people at the other end of the table talked about. I could realistically hear about two or three people to either side of me, after that it was just too far. So you might want to see if they have a round table that can accomodate your party.
