Thanks Susan Not if you are docking at the new cruise terminal. The Millenium definately docks there. The cable car goes from Mount Faber. You will need to take a taxi up there. There is a local bus from the terminal to a Metro station quite nearby.
Rare ghstudio Posted February 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2013 The new terminal is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It's downtown, but the park and industrial park that it's in hasn't been built yet so all there is is a long twisty road from downtown to the terminal....and it's pretty much unwalkable. You will have to get to the metro station (taxi/bus) or just take a taxi wherever you want to go. Compare with Hong Kong where the ship actually docks at a major shopping center...you walk off the ship into a main corridor of the shopping center....weird, but incredibly convenient. wattsde Posted February 26, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2013 Agreed, there is so much construction even things that seem relatively "close" simply aren't accessible on foot. You'll need a cab for sure. …and be sure to have the address. It’s so new in January when we went several cabbies didn’t even know where we were talking about with the new terminal.
