mikmouse Posted February 12, 2017 #1926 Share Posted February 12, 2017 There was a problem with the dry dock. Hurricane Matthew destroyed and delayed critical shipping containers. Therefore many of the planned changes did not take place. Some of the changes did happen. The sports deck got a flow rider, water slides, and a new golf course. The pool deck got a water park. Chops will open in March. Izumi has been put on indefinite hold. Anyone know when Chops will open? We sail March 18, 2017. bookworm67 Posted February 14, 2017 #1936 Share Posted February 14, 2017 A couple of questions......we will be sailing AOS on May 20th to celebrate our anniversary. I can't wait! I'm trying to find out if we are allowed to bring wine on-board? I know Carnival allows 1 bottle per person but I can't find any definite information about this for AOS. Also, do you know if we can rent snorkel gear on-board? Thank you for your help!

You can bring the wine anywhere on the ship, with no corkage fees. There is snorkel gear for purchase on board, but not for rent.

QuitMyDayJob Posted February 17, 2017 #1945 Share Posted February 17, 2017 I may have missed this, where is Chops going, what deck and where? It seems I've seen contradicting accounts, but they may have been best guesses. Thanks!

QuitMyDayJob Posted February 18, 2017 #1948 Share Posted February 18, 2017 Thank you both for the quick response! I have another question that I know is on here somewhere but my searches are not coming up with anything. Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms? Anyone have a link/photo to the MDR seating chart? Thanks in advance. Jane

QuitMyDayJob Posted February 19, 2017 #1950 Share Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks, Clarea. I guess I saw something specific to one sailing. Do you know what the largest table is? How many they will seat together? I assume it's 8 or 10? We're a group of 12 so trying to figure things out! Thanks again.
