KruznKel Posted June 13, 2005 #26 Share Posted June 13, 2005 http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=177047 Here is the post where I asked a recent Glory cruiser (Canadian) about whether or not his passport was held, and he said it wasn't, because of a change in policy. Would be weird if this was an experience unique to this particular cruiser. Thanks for the link.. that makes more sense to me! :)
98Charlie Posted June 14, 2005 #27 Share Posted June 14, 2005 I make copies of my passport when I travel anywahere to give to someone at home "just in case." If I'm on a cruise I keep a copy in the room safe and I carry the original when I get off the ship. If in a hotel in a foreign country I have a copy placed in the hotel safe, I carry the original. As another way to have a copy handy I have seen it suggested that you can scan the info pages of the passport and email them to yourself. Anywhere you can get an internet connection and a printer you can have a copy. Charlie
