Cabin Review Format

Cabin Number:441

Cruise Ship: Thomson Majesty

Date of Cruise: August 2013

Bed Formation: two singles with bunks above, chest of drawers in between beds.

Bath/Shower?: wet shower room - very small

Adjoining Cabin?: No

Balcony?: No

Comment on the Size of the Cabin: fairly spacious, cases fit under the two beds easily.

Comment on any Noise Issues: None, other than "Elephant Boy" stampeding in above corridor

Comment on Storage Space: Very good - three wardrobes 1 x double & 1 x single. Chest of drawers x 3, small cupboard at side of fridge.

Comment on the Bathroom: very small & cramped, only just sufficient

Any Other Comments?: Two large square windows - superb. flat screen TV (noisy reception on film channels). Fridge. Only 2 sockets in the main room - would need an extension lead to charge more than 1 phone at a time.

Would You Recommend this Cabin?: Yes, apart from "Elephant Boy" upstairs is very quiet. Not much foot traffic outside the cabin, negligible engine noise or vibration.

Are you thinking of booking a cruise then Vera? :D:D

Always thinking about it Linda,;) but not managing much at the moment. Thomson have free upgrades on and I was just pondering if I could go to the Arctic for two weeks without a bath..

I've just re-read this and it sounds bad.........I mean an actual bath, not a wash!!:D

Cabin Review Format

Cabin Number:718

Cruise Ship: Thomson Spirit

Date of Cruise: September 2013

Bed Formation: two singles with two low cupboards in between beds.

Bath/Shower?: wet shower room - very small

Adjoining Cabin?: No

Balcony?: No

Comment on the Size of the Cabin: significantly larger than the single cabins I've had on Majesty and Island Escape, so felt spacious, cases fitted under the two beds easily.

Comment on any Noise Issues: Was some engine noise and vibration but it didn't bother me too much - I prebooked this cabin as it is the most forward single cabin and I think it was worth doing so

Comment on Storage Space: Good - a double wardrobe, two low double door cupboards, but only 3 small drawers.

Comment on the Bathroom: Small & a little cramped, and a bit grim (very tired compared to the cabin) but plenty of storage for toiletries

Any Other Comments?: Newish flat screen TV, porthole was nice and clear. Only 2 sockets in the main room - would need an extension lead to charge more than 1 phone at a time.

Would You Recommend this Cabin?: Yes, as single cabins go, noisier than on Majesty but much more spacious. I'm not sure any single cabins on Spirit would be much quieter.

Just bumping this up as you will all be booking your cruises next week :D:D

Ooh I'm very tempted by those Western Caribbean itineraries, even though I said I'd never go on the Dream again :rolleyes:

Money a bit tight at the moment, so will have to start saving up :p

I'm sure you'll be at the front of the queue as usual Linda.;)

We have a lot on next year too, so I wanted to know the winter itineraries before I decided on the summer. If that makes any sense to anyone but me.:D

Spirit cabin 477,inside deck3, last August 27th, uk cruise. Usually in 474 which is a good cabin, this time 477, the wardrobes in this cabin are a lot narrower than the others, could not hang clothes strait, had to go in at an angle. Other wise ok.
