washdcguy Posted March 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Need some help from those of you with much more X experience than us. We're on a 12 day Infinity sailing and have a 'sunset' cabin (aft on 11). The guarantee for a suite (albeit accessible) is $100 more. Should we do it? Pros: Two free specialty dinners (making the upgrade cost ~$10) Larger room Larger balcony (likely with foot rests) Balcony covered regardless of rain Butler Upgraded toiletries Coffee delivered to room Meals in room Cons: Potential loss in sun based on suite location Blu when availability exists (assuming we enjoy Blu) Balcony may not have the same exposure to sun Persian gardens only available for free one port day (assuming we enjoy PG) We've gone back and forth, and out TA doesn't seem to have the X experience to give us a compelling reason either way. Thoughts, advice, things we haven't considered? Thanks.

alcpa1 Posted March 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 11, 2013 Love the afts and the AQ but you can't beat a suite! There's no guarantee that you will end up in the HC cabin though. You could be in ANY available suite. Go for it.
