boa toting mama Posted March 20, 2013 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Hi we leave Friday and board Saturday on the Liberty. I'm going to bring our allowed two 750 ml bottles of wine on board. Will we be able to get a corkscrew and wineglasses on board? Looking forward to morning coffee and evening wine on our balcony! :) Or is that morning wine and evening cofffe?????? <ok kidding on that last one>
keystonemama Posted March 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We do, always pack the corkscrew/wine in my carry on make up bags, goes thru, no problem.
ShakyBeef Posted March 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted March 20, 2013 If you are staying in a suite, white wine glasses and red wine glasses will be provided. If not, you can do what some do and use the provided water goblets for your wine. Or you can request a wine glass from a bar (or order a glass of wine, drink it, and keep the glass to refill with your brought-from-home wine;)). I have heard that your room steward will provide you with a corkscrew. But I just bring my own, travel corkscrew like this: with me, in my carry on. No problems.:)
Starlight Durban Cruising Posted March 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2013 The corkscrew picture that ShakyBeef posted looks the same as the one that Room Service or your cabin steward will give you. Just phone Room Service and they will have one delivered to you.
Georgiagolfer Posted March 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Agree with other about the corkscrew. As for wine glasses, go to any bar and they will give you the wine glasses to use in your room.
cruiseonthebrain Posted March 20, 2013 #6 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We always bring a full size corkscrew with us. You could try wrapping the glasses in bubble wrap and gently packing them in your carry on. We have had no problem with this. Or, like others said, ask the bar for a wine glass. BigDfromTN Posted March 20, 2013 #7 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We pack our own corkscrew (never leave home without it) and get the glasses on board. You can request them from your room steward or as stated go to any bar and ask. No problem.
golfadj Posted March 20, 2013 #8 Share Posted March 20, 2013 Your room steward will lend you a corkscrew. We ask the steward to make sure we always have 4 white wine glasses in our cabin. Doesnt matter what type of cabin you are in for this.

Butterbean1000 Posted March 20, 2013 #10 Share Posted March 20, 2013 We always take our own cork screw. We also take a glass of wine with us to the dining room to avoid the corkage fee. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk

Some times the headwaiter will notice it and offer to store wine for you and sometimes they will not.
