Thanks to everyone who had added updates recently. I think we are beginning to get a great picture on the various cabin options on Azamara and it is nice to read some are already finding it helps with booking decisions

Any others who are able to add feedback, please do

UKTog, thanks for doing this.

Cabin Number: 6020

Ship : Journey

Month/Year sailed : Dec 2011

Would you choose this room again: Yes (were in 6022 in Dec 2012)

Is noise an issue: No, but see below

Balcony size: Standard

Comment: On our very last night in 6022, we could hear the music from show downstairs. That was the only time we heard any noises from below, and it was very faint anyway. No vibrations, no issue re being relatively forward in the ship.

Stateroom Number: 6001

Ship: Quest

Date: February 2008

Would you Choose cabin again: No

Is Noise an Issue?: Yes

Balcony Size: Normal

The noise came from the theater below for practice at 4 PM and then the shows.

The more significant noise came from the anchor chains being lowered early AM. The stateroom actually vibrated.

6001 was directly forward right over the work area in the bow of the ship.

It could be they soundproofed the room since then (I hope)

Quest: V1 8032 port and 8031 starboard- both mid-ship, quiet Wondered if pool noise may be noticable, but no issues at all.

Journey: Suite 8046 port - mid-ship, lovely cabin, great position re stairs & elevators, and quiet other than very occasional furniture-moving noise above.

We would be delighted to book any of these cabins again.

Journey: V2 7054 coming up very soon (solo occupation which will be a different experience) so will report on that after my voyage.
