cab/driver from Gatwick to Central London

Recommended Posts

This will be my first time flying into Gatwick. Does anyone know the approximate cost for a taxi (2 people with lots of luggage) to central London? Also, would anyone recommend a car service/driver as well.

thanks, Nancy

In the area of £65 for a regular taxi. You can arrange a minicab "meet & greet" for around £50. I like Car Service 2000 www.carservice2000.com

Another option is the train from Gatwick Airport to Victoria Station, but you need to be able to handle your luggage on and off the train. It would be less expensive though.

Thanks Bill. I will look into the car service. The train isn't an option since we will have quite a bit of luggage. I know the cost is much less but I want to have an option that is more convenient. Thanks, Nancy
