goracer6 Posted May 6, 2013 #419 Share Posted May 6, 2013 Wonderful review! Could you discuss the advantage of Larry's Limo over the cab on departure day? Is the cab line long and unorganized compared to Larry's? What was the cost of your cab ride? Again thanks for a great review! Our family can not wait to cruise on Breeze this summer.:)

PaulMedik Posted May 7, 2013 Author #425 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Doug910, maddea20, JXR, mr&mrscruiselover, Thank you for your kind comments. They are much appreciated. jimbo5544, Thank you. Karen keeps nixing our SB cruise next year too, but I'll keep after her. Breeze B2B in June or July 2015 is in the planning stages and would be booked if Carnival would release the sailings.... Wonderful review! Could you discuss the advantage of Larry's Limo over the cab on departure day? Is the cab line long and unorganized compared to Larry's? What was the cost of your cab ride? Again thanks for a great review! Our family can not wait to cruise on Breeze this summer.:) goracer6, Thank you. Larry's Limo is predictable, on time, and always contacts us in advance of each pick up and makes sure we don't have any changes in our plans. It's nice to get that call as we're going down the gangway or getting off a plane and getting the call that they'll be there waiting for us after we get our luggage. Basically I had to arrange transportation after arrival in Miami and then each step of the way; hotel to hotel then hotel to port then after the cruise from the port to the hotel then from the hotel to the airport. Doing it all in advance via Larry's Limo is much more relaxing and not much more expensive. Larry's Limo would have been cheaper from The Savoy to FLL and would have been about the same from the port to The Savoy considering we had two cabs that racked up $48 each by driving around the closed streets. Normally cabs are $23 or $28 from Port of Miami to South Beach. The time saved by arranging everything in advance with Larry's Limo would have more than made up for the slight increase in cost. The cab line at Port of Miami was well organized, but there was a wait and we'd have waiting longer if we'd have waited for one large cab. If we'd have booked Larry's, we'd have walked outside and the driver would have loaded our luggage and we'd have been relaxing in the limo.
