CD, just noticed we are both sailing on 12/9 from Port Everglades, but I'm on Silhouette. Can't wait to hear about Edge.

I'm back on these boards after about a 10 year absence while I worked with Carnival and RCCL ships as Port Agent. Don't mind if you contact me for help with your bid at hmw608 at aol dot com.

Will do. Thanks

Probably a long shot....but can anyone help me find a real good price on  3.5 to 4 star hotel in Ft Lauderdale for 1 night Nov 14, (pre-cruise). On the Port Everglades strip, OR possibly on the (nearby) beach strip?

$155 bid  plus $31 taxes and fees  vs. $378 for a AAA rate

Can you please provide date s?  Was this your first bid?  or did you have to rebid several times?  thx

January 3, 2019  It was my 9th bid.  I was aiming for the Intercontinental Downtown/Port of Miami which is 4 1/2* but was given the Kimpton Epic.  First time using Priceline, I followed instructions for getting free rebids so I started pretty low.

What was the date?  Was it Hotwire or Priceline? Was it a bid? These are details that are needed.  Your posting is worthless without them.

Sorry.. I was busy at work and it slipped my mind to include that stuff.

March 9th. A Priceline bid.

8 ships in port on the Sunday so Fort Lauderdale will be busy.

Sheraton Suites Fort Lauderdale at Cypress Creek 02/01/19 for $95

Btw, I also booked a full size car with Alamo for this date for $20.

Was the rental direct with alamo or priceline or hotwire. Did you have discount codes?

I'm also interested in the Alamo price. I'm paying $40 thru Costco.

Just had a quick look around Port Everglades for 3/31/19 and looks expensive, and showing quite a few '1 room left' signs (Priceline)... is it too early to look or are the good deals not out yet or is this a busy time?

I would not narrow my search to just the port area. See if you can get a cheap rental car then you are free to expand your search area. You can drop the rental off near the port and take the shuttle to your ship. I just found a 95% recommended on hotwire for $112 on 3/31. Its inland in the Sunrise-Plantation-Davie area but it looks like a safe bet.

Just rechecked my reservation to make sure I am being accurate. I booked direct with Alamo for $27. I did not use any promo codes. I pick up at FLL and drop off at Port Everglades.

I may be late to the party, but I got 2 rooms at the Four Points air/cruise port in Fort Lauderdale for 130 USD per room... expedia has them now for 294 USD each... I think I did ok..

I have booked this hotel for our pre-cruise 1/30/20.  How was it?

Anyone get bids for Feb 14 2020 out of Port Everglades...I wasn't planning this cruise the best for the night before hotel.  So I am gonna try Priceline for the first time any thoughts!
