Meet & Mingle

I heard via email today that there are the required 6 passengers for a M & M. We are on the TA crossing from Barcelona to Barbados on the Cloud October 25.

It didn't take very long once I had registered. Hope to see more there.

 

Thanks MrsCrab: We have 8 registered for the Spirit 11/25 sailing from FLL -- haven't been notified by SS we qualify for the M & M but perhaps soon.

Hubby and I are on the Wind right now. We were the only two that showed up (out of 6). I felt bad for cruise consultant Christiane, who prepared a lovely app spread and had officers stop in to say hello. Lots of champagne! The good news is tha we had a lovely conversation with her and learned about an Alaska sailing we are interested in.

We had a meet and mingle this morning. It was difficult to find a good time for it as there are not many sea days and our first formal night and Captains cocktails are on tonight.

There were 8 of us registered and Unfortunately the enrichment lecture went overtime so only 5 of attended ( I imagine that it was hard to walk out of). The staff attending outnumbered the cruise critic members.

The canapés were delicious, so they had really pulled out all stops.

 

Perhaps in time there will be a bigger attendance, but as had been stated previously, hardly anyone on board I have spoken to have heard of Cruise Critic.
