montgomeryfamily Posted June 9, 2013 #328 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I saw that you had posted a picture of the parade near the Cupcake Cupbroad. Do you have any others? We sat right in front and watched the parade. Wondering if we are in any shots you didn't post? My Mom was in a wheelchair, so we would be easy to identify. Julesbeara, where did your mother sit for the parade? We will have a family member in a wheelchair and wondered where the best place would be to go so he could see everything. Thanks. PCWalton1 Posted June 9, 2013 Author #329 Share Posted June 9, 2013 If you get the chance to cruise on Allure I highly recommend you sign up for the Prohibition Party. T I scanned these today and want to add them to the review. We had a great time and thought it was well worth the little added expense. And it was not hard to get costumes together. This was a newspaper they handed out.

PCWalton1 Posted June 9, 2013 Author #333 Share Posted June 9, 2013 I scanned the menus for what is currently being offered at 150 Central on Allure. This one is for the first half of the week. This is the menu for the latter half of the week. By far our favorite of the two menus. :) Bill
Adam185 Posted June 9, 2013 #334 Share Posted June 9, 2013 We had 150 CP the first half of the week. We had Oliver as our waiter and it was an amazing meal! Send from device_name using Cruise Critic your_app_name App

Send from device_name using Cruise Critic your_app_name App Both meals were outstanding for us. There were just a couple of things (Gnudi and beef) that stood out more for us on the second meal. :)
PCWalton1 Posted June 12, 2013 Author #336 Share Posted June 12, 2013 I guess I never really posted whether I would go back on Allure. Would I, most definitely. It was a cruising experience uniquely different from any we had experienced before. I like the fact that that were not a lot of ports as there was so much to do on the ship and would have missed much of it on shore. I would not recommend the Allure as your very first cruise as it sets the bar so high you may be disappointed with anything else. If you think you will only do one cruise, go for it. If you think you may making cruising a habit, get a few under your belt, preferably one two port intense cruises to get a feel for that style. That way you will already know there is life at sea after Allure. Hope that makes sense. :p I created a book of our cruise if any of you care to browse it. http://www.mypublisher.com/landing/email/cn/index/eml/pcwalton2@q.com?e=OHm3Q8zJl3STRZl3Fk6H44bHIUoApGJv&showForm=true

janeyzee Posted June 13, 2013 #346 Share Posted June 13, 2013 I would not recommend the Allure as your very first cruise as it sets the bar so high you may be disappointed with anything else. My husband said two thumbs up for that remark! The Allure WAS our first cruise together and he has always said that very same thing. We have had fun on other cruises and other cruise lines, but we keep coming back to Allure and Oasis.
