Loyal Buckeye Posted June 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2013 How long should I wait to hear back from Carnival about a price drop? Do they let you know even if they deny it? I'm wondering if I should resubmit the request. I submitted it two days ago. Thank you.
Stevo24 Posted June 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I filled out a price drop form yesterday and received an email saying that they would send an email response within 7 days.
Velvetwater Posted June 6, 2013 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I Emailed them about UK site user paying extra fees and if these were due to tips but never got a response.
Litewait Posted June 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 6, 2013 I always go thru my PVP and have an answer the same day.. I don't trust Carnivals internet system when it comes to price drops!;)
near the beach Posted June 7, 2013 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Sometimes one day. Usually a couple of days. I had one that took over two weeks. It turned out be worth $150. That is why I kept at it for two weeks. If you think it is taking too long you can e-mail guestsolutionssupport@carnival.com. It does help if you made a screen shot of where you saw the lower rate and of the form you sent to Carnival.
Stevo24 Posted June 7, 2013 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2013 Sent in for mine on Wednesday and just logged onto my Carnival account and saw a $40 decrease in my price!! No email confirmation yet though. Although, they took away my $25 on-board credit... That's ok though, still coming out on top.

kinggartk Posted June 7, 2013 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2013 I did the price drop request over the phone, and spent a grand total of 3 mins on the line. Saved $70 smackers...gotta love it.
