beer1234 Posted June 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Does anyone know the name of the bar and town on the New England Cruise that has a copper bar with numerous hanging mugs. I think it may be a brew pub as I sort of remember eating there. Thanks

beer1234 Posted June 11, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Thanks so much for that info. I missed that on my last trip as I just couldn't remember it from a previous trip. ( Too many beers perhaps )
chengkp75 Posted June 11, 2013 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2013 Gritty's http://www.grittys.com/portland.php While Gritty's is a great brew pub, and convenient to the Old Port, just a short cab ride into town will get you to The Great Lost Bear, which is nationally ranked as one of the top brew pubs, and has 69 beers on tap. That was on my list the last time I was there but my non-beer drinking brethren won out. Not sure what I was thinking going to Portland with that crew. There are so many micro-brews in Maine and New Hampshire it make's my head spin. I'm like a kid in a candy store.
