In Amsterdam what is a snack bar called

A snackbar in Holland is more or less the place to get french fries etc. So can you explain more what you mean?

I donot think we have them here. But in some (grocery)shops you will find a collections of nuts and of course fruits.

Yes some do too.

Have a look at the AH store in Magna Plaza, at the back of Royal Palace. I think might be your best option.

A snackbar in dutch is what Americans would call a greasy spoon or a very simple diner, therefore Ine's confusion.

 

You are looking for anything under the generic name "Mueslireep" (muesli bar) like Liga Fruitkick, Liga Evergreen, Hero B'tween or similar products. You can buy them in any supermarket or grocery store. In case you are on a river cruise: in Germany, Hero B'tween is called Corny.
