I have booked this location for 2 night pre cruise. I will not have a car. I was told by the hotel personnel that I can walk to restaurants and shopping. Can anyone who has stayed there verify this and I do not want to get caught off guard with no means of transportation. Yikes!! Thank You.

We stayed last year and it was a great pre cruise hotel. For a short 15 min walk you can get to Kmart, Sams Club and a variety of other stores and lots of places to eat. They also have a van for shuttles, if they are not busy they will drive you over to the plaza.

We have stayed there twice and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. The hotel has a restaurant inside that serves breakfast and dinner. We had dinner there both times we have stayed. The food was good and not badly priced. We just wanted something relaxing and didn't want to go out some where. We haven't tried breakfast but did get coffee. I think they had danishes and baked goods as well.

We stayed previously at Cambria Suites, the hotel is nice but set back off of the main road. If you go to a restaurant it is a long walk from the hotel. Depends upon your physicial condition and age. We tried to get the shuttle from the hotel but they were too busy to take us anyplace. The restaurant in the hotel was poor. If you can rent a car, or do not mind taking a cab, the rooms were ok. You should check out trip advisor for reviews.

Enjoy your cruise

We were originally scheduled to stay here. But, we opted to cancel and go to the Embassy suites.

Closer to the main drag, restuarants, and shopping.

Embassy has free coctktails and casual food in the evening, and free breakfast buffet. Not provided by Cambria suites.

I changed because of Cruise critic.

We love this hotel primarily because of the park & cruise option. The rooms are very nice, reasonably priced and the staff is great. That being said, since we have a car we are not restricted to finding a restaurant but we have noticed that it would be a pretty long walk to find something acceptable. With no transportation, you probably would be best served finding a hotel closer to amenities you need.

If a free airport shuttle or free WiFi is important to you, Embassy Suites does not have either, Cambria has both.:)
