JimAOk1945 Posted July 8, 2013 #26 Share Posted July 8, 2013 We had an interesting experience with the Upsell Fairy in 2011. We had booked a Grand Suite with an extended balcony on the Carnival Ecstasy. We got a call offering us an upsell to the Penthouse Suite (also called the Owner's Suite) when the Ecstasy still sailed out of Galveston, TX. There are only two of these gigantic suites on the ship. We had been on the Ecstasy before and never realized they were there even though you can see the windows when you are at the pool. The cabin measures 916 sq ft and the balcony 110 sq ft. Since it was our anniversary, I said yes. :D My wife took pictures and posted them on her personal website. You can see them at the link below. http://nancysoasis.com/OS/OS.html

Rare rrraydon Posted July 8, 2013 #31 Share Posted July 8, 2013 What happens if you don't use all of your OBC do you get a refund? That's great! Now when you look for price drops remember that you will base it on your new rate.

I was thinking I was going to get maybe $60 OBC then I got the email and was so thrilled my Fiancé is happy now that we don't have to pay the gratuities because the OBC will cover them
