I just booked my first solo cruise a few days ago on  Adventure of the Seas,  Feb 2020.

I wanted to do the itinerary (ABC Islands)and no one else did, so I am going myself!

Can't wait!😀🚢🥂🌴

Well I am now thinking about my next cruise, solo cruise June 2, on the NCL Breakaway !

I just got off the Breakaway last week.  Ship is a Monster !  Lots of walking. Make sure you eat in the Manhattan Room, it’s part of the free dining.  Rooms are smaller to get more cabins stuffed in there,  and we had a balcony.

I just booked the NCL Spirit 12 nt Norway & the Artic  Summer Solstice for June 14th. NCL had a price drop and a reduced solo supplement. I noticed this on a few of their other cruises for this summer. You have to do a mock booking because it doesn't show until you're on the page that you pick the type of cabin you want. I picked a sail away BX. I checked out a lot of photos and info about things like obstructed and also know there are a few extra small balcony cabins on this ship but they were all acceptable to me for the price in case that's what I get. For a few hundred more you could pick one that had the 2 perks but you would still get a gty cabin.  I don't drink so it wasn't worth it to me.

Now I have to book everything else. I plan on going a few days ahead. This cruise sets sail out to Southampton. This is another 'bucket list' cruise for me. I already have a 13nt AU/NZ  planned for Jan 2020 and am going to add another 7 night to that trip that does the southern part of Australia.

I just got through booking the 7 night on the Golden out of Melbourne that is 2 days after I get off of the Majestic in Jan 2020. I have my Princess PVP checking on flight prices to see if I can get a better deal than booking it myself. I will have to fly from Sydney to Melbourne after I get off the Majestic. I'll have 2 days in Melbourne then board the Golden. I plan on having 3 night in Sydney pre Majestic cruise. 😎

Back from my solo cruise on the Royal Princess

I was on her for the 49 day grand adventure (Feb 2nd - March 23rd).  How did you like her and did you get a chance to interact with Matt O'Brien (Matt O') the cruise director.

Looks like you arrive in Vancouver on the 4th.  I'm on the Bliss arriving on the 3rd (but disembarking on the 4th).

Just booked another solo NCL cruise - Jade - Greek Isles and Italy from Rome, September. This cruise has 8 ports, 9 if you include Rome. I used the flight benefit (about $500 cheaper than others I found) and selected Beverage package and shore excursions. Since I've never been these places, I will be taking all shore excursions with NCL so it's a better value than any of the other perks. I will buy the dining package once on board. Cruise cabin itself was comped by Casinos at Sea. Other than Caribbean (19 times solo), I've been on Panama Canal and transatlantic solo. I'm very excited!

Leaving May 1st to London. Will be there two days pre-cruise. Boarding the Sapphire Princess on May 4th in Southampton for the Baltic Heritage cruise for 14 days b2b with a subsequent 7 day Norwegian Fjords cruise on the same ship. All sounded great a year ago when I booked these cruises, but starting to wonder if 21 days on a cruise ship will be too long.

Each individual must decide for themselves about max length of cruise they are comfortable with.  For me, 21 days is the longest I have been on a cruise.  I would be fine with a longer cruise.

Sounds like you have a great cruise adventure scheduled.  I am envious of your upcoming trip.  Relax and enjoy every minute of your cruise.
