MomPic Posted July 7, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2013 We just got back from 7 days on the Fantasy and loved FTTF!!! It got us into our room with luggage waiting way before most others. No carrying around bags or coolers of sodas.... All dropped off and enjoying our first drink of the day way early. We had our own line at the service desk and got a call from customer service asking us if we used FTTF for priority tendering at Half Moon Cay. We took our time tendering to HMC and were on Tender 12.... Lots of lounge chairs and plenty of beach to enjoy so we were in no hurry. We did get a special meeting place for disembarkment and pretty sure we were off earlier than most. We chose to let them take our bags and met in the library at 8 am with other FTTF cruisers. This also was wonderful. Lots of porters to push our bags out for us, bus ride to the warehouse and another porter to bring our bags to the car.... FASTER to the FUN is worth it!! Enjoy!! RipDaddy Posted July 8, 2013 #4 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Couldn't agree more. We just returned from the Magic today. From curbside to onboard in less than 20 minutes! We went straight to our room and we were on the waterslides with the kids as others were still arriving to the port! Well worth the money in my opinion. ariannas1nana Posted July 8, 2013 #13 Share Posted July 8, 2013 We just got back off the Fantasy also! My husband and I were the FIRST ones on board! We had FTTF! We arrived around 10 and waited til we were directed to go in to park. We were the first ones in with the FTTF..they said we were the First! So wetware sent right up stairs to board! It was great being the first on board, we went straight to guess services and chose our cabana in half moon, we got #15! Then went to our room. We were in the room about 10-15 mins and our luggage arrived..we unpacked and we to check out the ship! The only thing we did NOT like on this cruise was the food in the Lido dining room! It was terrible...!! But other than that we had a great time!! Even met some new friends that we hope to keep in touch with!

lady_cruiser Posted July 8, 2013 #15 Share Posted July 8, 2013 We had our first FTTF for our April cruise on the Elation. And I agree it was well worth the money. We used it to get on the ship early. Our luggage was outside our cabin door before we even boarded the ship so it was nice to repack and go exploring before the majority of people were on the ship. We went to guest services twice; the first time we used the FTTF and the second time it was quicker to use the regular line since the lines that Platinum, Diamond and FTTF was much longer. Now I can't wait to use it for our Sept cruise on the Conquest.
caro1998 Posted July 8, 2013 #16 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Well I for one am already glad for my FTTF purchase. I am waiting to board the Victory and it looks like the letter I received about delayed boarding was correct. I received another letter this morning upon arrival at the port to expect delays up to 1:30 boarding time. It is not even 12pm and this place is packed. I am glad I will be one of the first to board & be able to put my stuff in my cabin so I can beat the lunch rush! Caro
Express Man Posted July 8, 2013 #17 Share Posted July 8, 2013 (edited) We bought it for our Easter cruise...We thought it was more than worth the $50 per cabin. We will never cruise w/o it after seeing how well it worked out and tendering was a huge plus. Edited July 8, 2013 by Express Man

Lovefuninthesun Posted July 8, 2013 #19 Share Posted July 8, 2013 I bought FTTF for the Legend/Tampa in November. I am so looking forward to being able to stow my stuff in our room, to not having to schlep everything along with us when we go eat lunch!:)
ladylimpach Posted July 13, 2013 #20 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I was going to purchase this, however my Carnival agent said that since we have booked a suite that VIP check in is included.....haven't had VIP check in before so not sure what that really means.....can anyone answer this? Should purchase FTTF or not?
4bythebeach Posted July 13, 2013 #21 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I do not know exactly what FTTF includes, but we booked a suite on our cruise out of Tampa and we did get escorted into a private room with chairs for our check in and then were the first group to enter the ship, but that was about the extent of the extra special treatment we got. Obviously our room was huge and huge balcony, etc......but there was no extra perks like on some other lines.

Should purchase FTTF or not? FTTF also gets you to your cabin as soon as you board, and early tender tickets if you are going to ports that tender in. These are the best perks that FTTF has, and being in a suite.. does not have. I would purchase it if I were you. It took me ten cruises to hit Platinum... and now you can buy the same perks for only 50 bucks that used to be for loyal frequent cruisers... buy it and enjoy it. prattmom Posted July 13, 2013 #23 Share Posted July 13, 2013 What time did you get to the port? We are going on the Magic in Sept. As long as the previous cruise didn't visit Belize the magic tends to begin boarding between 10:15 and 11... Allow extra time if the debarking cruise went to Belize. Happy sailing! I believe the voyage previous to ours is the Key West run. Curious, why does port of call in Belize delay subsequent boarding for the next cruise? Customs special scrutiny or ?? Should purchase FTTF or not? If you want to be able to go right to your cabin and get your luggage delivered to cabin early you will need to purchase FTTF . We also have booked a vista suite and I asked about what having a suite includes on Carnival site and was told you only have priority boarding. I am going to purchase FTTF when it is released for my cruise so I can get on and go right to cabin and drop off carry on before I head out to Lido and get my first Funship Special.
