Has anyone ever received a coupon off terminal parking from hotel before. Best Western said they will give us a 40% off port parking that reduces price to $8.99 a day. They don't have hotel shuttle so they offer coupon. Just curious if anyone has ever used this and if it really works?

I've read about these options on the Florida departure boards, especially pertaining to Port Canaveral. Try the departure boards for parking answers for many ports.

 

By the way, there are several off site options for port parking again, especially for port canaveral. Some (reputable ones) are offering parking for $4.99 a day with an advanced reservation.

Take a look at the Florida departure threads for LOTS of suggestions.

 

We stay where suits us and park off site at Park N Cruise. We find the hotel park packages are a good deal for the 7 night cruises, but as much for the three to four night cruises. The port parking is vey convenient but expensive.

Everyone has a favorite lot. We like Park N Cruse as it is on road 528, close to port but "on our way" to I-95 and we don’t backtrack into Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area. With an eight hour drive ahead of us, even the 15 minutes we save by heading in the direction of I-95 helps.

 

If you prefer to park at the port, then a hotel that offer the discount is the way to go – or pay the $15 daily rate. Be warned that most if not all the lots including the port, charge for the day, not the night. So if you have a 7 night cruise, that translates to 8 days of parking, three night cruise means 4 days of parking.

We did this at fairfield inn in titusville. Same price 9. Attendant processed, no issues.

 

We like parking at terminal for the covered parking and feels more secure. Plus we use express departure, in car and on road by 715.

Thanks to all for the info !! We leave Sunday for our 1st cruise !! We are so excited. We booked Best Western and ate going to try the coupon option.

If you're not in a rush to get home, Kennedy Space Center is right there to visit after. Well worth a visit.
